Bridge Builders Communication Strategies
Build citywide infrastructure for long-term engagement of all Bridge Builder Alumni in improving their communities through policy change, electoral participation, and the allocation of government resources to redevelopment efforts.
Tasks:
Identify necessary pre-conditions for successful community organizing in Memphis
Develop an understanding of the history &; current state of local community organizing
Develop analysis of individual neighborhoods’ liabilities, needs and potential
Identify organizations with capacity and interest in community engagement work
Develop a strategic plan for advancing BRIDGES collective vision, including staff and budget
